Wordpress 2.9 is Here!

The wait is finally over, Wordpress 2.9 is out and ready to install. There are tons of nice new features for us to try out, with my favourite being the capacity to edit images from within Wordpress. The image editor has all the basic features you need, including:
- Image Resizing (finally)
- Image Cropping and Thumbnailing
- Horizontal & Vertical Flipping
- A Simple and Solid Interface
Two of the other features of Wordpress 2.9 that I’m excited about are the trash can and easy video embeds. But hey, don’t take my word for it! Check out this classy video put out by the Wordpress team that explains everything in greater detail.
